Using Stone Accent Wall
Stone accent wall – It accentuating a stone wall is a great way to add old world charm and character to the space. You can add to the stone columns, walls accentuate average or just a part of a wall to add depth and color. Stone veneer is lighter than stone and installed with much less hassle. There are a number of styles and colors to choose from, allowing you to customize your wall space in any way you want.
Instructions to use stone accent wall: create a template to the wall where you are installing the stone size drawing on a large piece of cardboard. Set the stones in the template. Score along the pencil mark with a diamond-tipped saw. Set the tip of a chisel on the same line and hammer firmly with a masonry hammer to break the stone into two pieces. Place the stone in the template.
Spread a bed of 1/2-inch thick mortar on the drywall with a trowel. Start at the bottom of the wall and move upward. Apply the mortar in small enough amounts. Press the stones in mortar for fixing firmly. Cover the mortar with stones according to their composition template.
Finally, to use stone accent wall, repeat the process, extending the application of mortar and stones until the wall is covered or you have completed your design. Let the mortar dry overnight.
